Frostbite Kickoff, Rigging Day and Clinic postponed
While our efforts paid off keeping damage to a minimum, we still experienced record wind and tides. The Club is closed while we dig out. Additional boats on the docks will hinder efforts to get the club back in working order.. The crew has a lot of repairs to perform around the club and on the floats. The North End wooden floats were slightly damaged at the junctions from wave action in the hurricane. These need to be repaired before the Frostbite Dyers can take their positions for the season. In addition, the club Dyers still need assembly and there are many other items that need to be addressed to ensure the preservation of facilities and safety of all the members. It will take approximately a week to make sure all is back in safe working order before starting the frostbite season and having clinics. Please check this site and the club calendar for updates.
